I called BMW Financial and they said they have no problem with the bike going to Mexico. They will fax a notarized letter stating so after receipt of proof of mexican insurance.
I believe, therefore, that the title, even if not clean, that can be obtained for vehicles registered in the states is good.
At least for mexico. I would like to know more about south of mexico since I am planning a trip to panama this summer.
By the way anybody interested in traveling together?
