Are u.s. Citizens getting into sudan?
 

I am in South Africa now, starting my trip north.

Is Sudan still issuing tourist visas for U.S. passports?

Also, same question goes for Egypt?

I applied for the Sudan visa in Aswan, waited 4 weeks. No outright refusal, just "Sorry, not today"...day after day. I never got the thing. :frown:

No problem for Egypt, visa on arrival (at Nuweiba port on the Sinai). This was in winter/early spring of 2011.
