UK car insurance for France, Spain and Morocco
 

Hi folks,

I'm taking my family to Morocco by car next year and my current insurance policy is about to expire, so I'm looking at alternatives as my current insurer (Esure) doesn't cover Morocco.

Ideally, I'd like to insure with a reputable (?!) UK insurance company that offers green card insurance for France, Spain and Morocco, who I can just insure my car with for the coming year.

Trip will be six weeks from UK to UK.

Thanks for any recommendations or pointers.

NFU issue green cards for Morocco free of charge.

A Green Card gives you the minimum legal insurance to drive in a country, so 3rd party only. Beware of people who tell you they have a fully comprehensive Green Card insurance - it doesnt exist.

Apparently, Adrian Flux subsidiary, Sterling Insurance, will do a Fully Comp policy for Morocco but it is very, very expensive
