V5 Document

Just noticed that the Colour Section displays WHITE.

The bike is in actual fact Black, it was resprayed by the previous owner - and i knew of this - however didn't check the V5 until now.

Problem:

I'm setting off in 15 days, going around the EU and to Serbia/Bosnia/Romania

I don't have enough time to post it off to get a replacement in time.
The DVLA cannot amend it at all unless it has been posted back to them.

What are my options? :frown:

Options:

a. Spray it black.
b. Carry a can of black spray with you and do option a if, and when, anyone argues the case for it to be black.
c. Vinyl wrap the bike in black (you might like it that way).
d. Do nothing - no one will care so long as the rest of the document detail is correct. Actually, no one will even look at the document in any detail is my bet, unless you manage to cause an accident when the whole world will be against you!! :(

The V5 for my bike states red but it's white, I've never had any problems at border crossings
Just returned from the region your heading. Enjoy

You got the colours the wrong way around :P

But im going to take some one can of white plastidip along with me just incase.
That way if i do run into any problems I can just spray it over everything and it will peel back off - perfect solution :)

Thanks guys! - i'm itching to set off !!!!

I have to admit that I wasn't at my best yesterday. :innocent:

Enjoy the ride, and I am sure, as dave08 says, that you won't need the spray can, no matter what colour it is.
