Visa for Nepal on border with India?
 

If I arrive at the Nepali border with India, can I get a visa there? The visa site says "upon arrival at the airport in Kathmandu", which is of course no help.

yes visa at border no problem we are british so please include your nationality so fellow country men can reply.

if i remember it was $30 us and they also blagged a 200 rupee bribe, i was so nieve, but Nepal was fantastic so who cares

Yep, $30 at the border, no problem. And be sure to get rid of any Indian Rupees of 500 or over in India, they won't accept them in Nepal.
