Visa for Russia
I am hoping to ride through Russia next year, and will need information on obtaining a visa.
I just got the following message back from Travcour: Unfortunately we can no longer provide visa assistance for Russian visas since the implementation of fingerprints and retina scans. It is now the case that every applicant must apply at the applications centre and provide a fingerprint and eye scan at the point of visa submission. I am very sorry but due to these changes we can no longer provide visa assistance for Russian visas. Can anyone explain to me how/where to get a multi-entrance/exit visa for Russia. I also wont to visit Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, that's the reason for the multi-entrance/exit visa. Smitty |
Sounds odd.
You can get a Russian visa invitation from many sources online waytorussia.net, realrussia.co.uk are agencies I've used. It doesn't matter where you are. Just contact the application centre first, in case they insist tht you get your invitation through them. Either way, you will have to visit the application centre in person. EO |
I used The visa machine
very simple - they sorted everything - I had to meet a bike courier with my completed docs at the Russian visa office in London to do finger print scans. No worries apart from getting yourself to the visa office. |
Do they do this in scotland as well
