Visa Timing/ Dual citizenship decisions
I need to get visas to India, Nepal, China, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan...
Any recommendations on which ones I should start with and/or what to expect? Also I wanted to ask: I have citizenship from both the US and the UK... but I will have an American international driver license.. Would it be wise to match the license with the passport? |

You don't need to get a visa for China, your tour company will organise a group visa for you. If you already have a visa then it will be cancelled when you get this. Expect 2-3 months lead time to organise the trip through China.

Ok thanks colebatch duly noted... and thanks beddhist.. although I'll be traveling through China illegally on a cheap bike bought within the country :P
So I will in fact need a visa to get in.. |
Nepal issues visa on arrival, at least in Ktm and some border crossings. Make sure you have some passport photos. Can't help you with the rest, though.

So I think we may have decided to alter our plans because of the problems facing a crossing of China.. plus we want so badly to take an Enfield back with us..
Soo we are thinking about buying a new Enfield in Nepal, and taking it legally through Pakistan and Iran... My latest question is: Can I use my English passport to travel through Pakistan and Iran while holding a CDP issued for final registration in the US? Also, is there anything I should know about buying an Enfield in Nepal? Thanks for all the help guys!! Will |
Mixing paperwork from different countries is not an issue. I have done this many times and in varying combinations. It just has to be all in your name.
However, it seems doubtful whether you will be able to get an Iranian visa at this time. Check other posts on the subject. Good luck! |
Thanks Peter,
