visa too Russia and Belarus

Me and my son are going too ride around in Russia and Belarus next year and our problem is as follows.
Too obtain a visa one needs an invitation, and on that invitation there needs too be information about places and hotels that one has preebooked, this is a problem ! i dont want too preebook anything. Do anyone know how too get around this, if possible.
We are Swedish citizens.
