visas for the middle east
 

hello,
we are now in addis and travel up to djibouti, yemen, saudi, jordan, syria and turkey. Where can we get visas for syria and jordan? Do european citizens need a visa for turkey?

any help would be appreciated

TR visas are issued at the border for you.

EU citizens dont need to apply for visa for Turkey. You'll get one on the border for about £14. There are Jordanian and Syrian Embassys in Ankara and Istanbul. You may apply to them for visa but I dont how long might it take.

It sounds as though they're heading for Jordan and Syria before Turkey.

There are a surprising number of Embassies in Addis, the LP doesn't list all of them, try the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry for a list, or maybe a particularly knowledgeable cabbie.
