West Africa Insurance?
 

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been raised umpteem times before.

At present considering a 3-4 week tour of Morocco and have been quoted £84 extra on my insurance to cover me fully comprehensive for this period (Carole Nash - sub insurers Norwich Union).Does this price seem fair?

Secondly I was unable to get insurance outside of Morocco for other countries such as Mauritania and Sierra Leone should we feel adventurous.

The basic idea would be perhaps to go one way and to extend our time ship the bikes back from Dakar. Can anyone give me some guidelines as to where I might find / obtain the appropriate insurance for this option or alternatively a good insurance company for Morocco?

PS Anyone knows of any good shipping agents out of Dakar it may be a bonus but I may post this on another forum.
