Agent for Salamis Lines in Haifa????
Hi, my israeli customs permit for my bike expires on the 28th of february,I cannot prolong it anymore.I can only take the ferry to Pireus on the 5th of march. To get permission to overstay my licence I need an actual ferry ticket to prove that I really am leaving. I can't put my bike in Jordan/Egypt as it would have to stay there for 3 months before being allowed back in(no carnet...)So I 'd better go now, I'm leaving Israel anyway,I quit my job at a touroperator to do some real traveling. So does anybody have the adress of the Salamis Lines agent in Haifa? I found an agent on the web in Crete, but it takes too long to send the ticket over, maybe it's easier if I could buy it in Haifa.

Hi, Ward. I found the following address for you for Salamis Lines:
Rosenfeld Shipping Ltd HAIFA: 104 Ha'Atzmaut St., Haifa, Tel: 04-8613670 Additional info from a site for travellers to Israel: http://www.israworld.com/about/away/Ferry/ferrybuy.htm "Tickets can be purchased in Israel directly from the ferry line agents themselves at the office addresses listed below, or from ferry line ticket booths at the actual port. Many travel shops and agencies throughout Israel also sell tickets, as do some youth hostels." Hope this helps. ------------------ Susan Johnson Share the Dream at www.HorizonsUnlimited.com |
Hi Susan !
Thanks for the tip, I phoned them and they're sending me a ticket today! Looks like I'm going to freeze in the Alps on my way to Belgium, I found a train from Bolzano to Cologne but have my doubts about getting from Venice to Bolzano without freezing... |
