Air freight to Nairobi or Entebbe - experiences
 

I am investigating flying two bikes in to Nairobi or preferably Entebbe.

I can't seem to find any info on other peoples experiences here, how difficult was the customs on the receiving end?

I have driven in to both countries many times, but how much more difficult is it to process if you fly in with your vehicle rather than drive?

Most likely the UK but it could be elsewhere.

I don't think I will have any trouble finding a shipping company to send the bikes, I am more worried about what the costs will be on the receiving end. I would like to estimate these costs now to see whether it makes more sense to try and source a bike locally or ship one there.

ok, in case you don't find anybody we could arrange from Hamburg. But the bikes Needs to be crated (we could collect the crated bike from yr place)


concerning the landing costs in Kenya: as per experience of our travelers the discussion starts at USD 500,00 and when you manage to pay USD 150,00 you made an excellent deal
