Airfreighting from Australia to Kathmandu
 

Greetings all,

I am planning an overland trip from Australia to the UK in early 2012 and would like to airfreight my R100GS from Brisbane to Kathmandu.

Originally I was quoted $2000-2500. This has just been revised to $3000-4000!!!! Surely there must be a cheaper way of getting a bike to Kathmandu.

If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it greatly.
