australia to south america
shipping or flying bike to chile or argentina?
any suggestions , advice or input welcome please? |
Shiping aus to south America
We shipped into valpariso chile 9 months ago. Shipping time was 80 plus days ex Melbourne. If you can go without or have a second bike to ride while you wait this is the cheapest option. Contrary to what some of us Aussies think, we are not the centre of trade. Shipping across the pacific usually goes via hong kong, Korea or Japan and then port hops down the west coast of the America's last stop being in the south of course.not convenient but cheapest. BMW 1200 adventure cost @$1200aus insured. If you want further info happy to help. Brian & Shirl (Aussiesoverland.com.au)

And maybe RORO is an option with Wallenius:
