Bike freight shipping from Sidney to South Africa
 

Hi,

We already post this message some other place but I am posting it here so maybe someone else can read it.

We need to ship the bike from Sidney to SA, we want to ship it by boat and when it travels there, go to New Zealand for some riding.

Do you any company that provides this service?? Cost?? Time it takes for the trip??

i just used steward garmey's service to ship my bike from melbourne to valparaiso. got the crate for free from melbourne bmw. steward replyes fast and had a friendly service. thought i shoulden't have taken the prepayservice for valparaiso, that was more expensive as others payed here.
but i realy can recomend him.

+ for Stwart. He shipped our bikes Melbourne to Johannesburg 3 weeks ago.
His service is excellent, but be aware that his contacts at the other end are still searching for their own backsides - and I gave them a map...
FWIW, we paid SAR1000 per bike to a freight agent to shuffle paper and SAR850 to collect the crate from SAA. These numbers equate to Au $100 and Au $85 respectively. Fast, friendly efficient at Saa Cargo, but the freight dude wasted 4 days for us.
