Bike + Rider from Europe to US by boat?
Hi,
I recently read on a travellers page about the shipping they did. Thy went by ship from the Netherlands to the US. They didn't answer my request and the only thing I have is the name of the vessel :-( Anybody has any indeas? Is there anybody else, who did that? Thanks in advance sam |
Hi
I looked into this once before but found it expensive. Try the link below. www.seatravel.nl Good luck andy |
Hi Sam
Check out this post which also has some useful links: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000148.html Be aware that shipping yourself with your bike is a much more expensive option than shipping it alone, and likely more than flying you and the bike! ------------------ Good luck and safe travels! Cunard has a garage on the Queen Elizabeth II, and will transport your motorcycle if you also book a transatlantic passage on the ship. It is, however, more expensive than flying first class and shipping the bike by air freight.

From Denmark and Norway, you can take the ferry to Iceland. Maybe you can find there a connection from Iceland to the US or Canada.
Your already half way there. Freek (Netherlands) |
The Iceland to US or Canada connection is discussed in the post below:

Thank You all!
I did my investigations meanwhile and got the same results you did. 80 Euros a day!!! It's a joke. I wasn't really looking for this luxury thing. Thanks sam |
