Bike Share Swap- Insurance question
 

I have a friend in US who wants to borrow my bike in the UK.
Also a friend in Oz wants to visit UK and swap bikes.

How do we get insurance?

The UK insurers say that they will not add anyone to my Insurance unless they have a UK drivers license.

The insurers in US won't insure my friend outside the US unless on his own bike.

What to do?

There is a Trans Atlantic Bike Share website but they have no solution either.

Does anyone have a solution? If you do it would be a great money-maker for an insurance guy!

Are there really no UK insurance companies who would provide insurance so visiting friends could ride a bit on your bike? :confused1:
