I am Planing this ride..need to ship my bike from buenos aires to cape town south africa...and ride to cairo...do i need this carnet de passage????for africa...any sugestions for shipping or flying!!!..if you have done it; i would be very interrested to talk with you...thank you .:scooter:

Yes, you need a carnet for the east coast route of Africa. The most common way to ship from BA to CT is using Malaysian Airlines air cargo. If you have any detailed questions, feel free to email me. Happy riding.

When are you planning on shipping from BA Fuccenrider? In fact, when are you planning the Capetown to Cairo ride?

In Ushuaia at the moment and I'm bouncing that ride around in my mind. I'm not sure yet when the best time is to do it would be though. Must first get my ass back to Buenos Aires.
