Car shipping from South Africa to The Netherlands
 

Anyone with information about shipping the car from South Africa (Cape Town) to The Netherlands? Contacts, prices, etc.

One thing I've learned is that is not easy to get a reply from a shipping agency. Your best bet is to contact a shipping agent in a port.

This is some recent info I got from SAF Marine (safmarine.com) for shipping with a container from South Africa to Antwerp (I presume that is close enough for you :-) :

Shipping cost: Usd 1,200
Extras: Usd 455

The extra's should include all harbour taxes but excludes the loading and unloading of the container. You should take about 200 to 300 USD extra into account for unforseen costs.
