Chicago to Turkey
Renting something in Turkey is a good possibility but I wanted to explore all options, has anyone shipped a bike to Turkey from Chicago? From anywhwere? Any recomendations on freight shippers from Chicago in general is also appreciated.
Thanks, Roger 95 R100GS |

Hi Roger,
I'm also looking to do the same early next year. I've called a few companies and I'm getting quotes around $1200 for sea and $2600 for air. Please update us if you find something better. |
Lads, also try to write an e-mail to MNG cargo. One of the Turkey's biggest cargo company.

Flew my bike out of Istanbul on Lufthansa airlines.
They have excellent service and are experienced at flying bikes, crated and uncrated. Call the nearest lufthansa cargo office and have them recommend a shipper that they regularly deal with. Price should be $1500 to $1800 one way. Good luck |
