Cross to Indonesia from Malaysia
Hi! We are a couple from Spain doing moto world tour with our Africa Twin, now we are in Malaysia trying to cross to Indonesia but is even impossible! We tried in so many harbours and everybody tell us that is not possible. Only in Port Klang is possible but now the sea is too loud and besides is Chinese New Year so they told us that we must wait almost 1 month to depart and we dont have time for wait... We need your help, anybody knows something about another ways to cross?? Thanks a lot!

Mr Lims «onion boat» have stopped running permanently I have read somewhere so thats not an option anymore.
Theres also an option a passenger ferry Port Klang to Tanjung Balai in Sumatra. Maybe this is the one you refer to? Bad weather - I cant help with that Im sorry. And not chinese new year either. Theres a roro connection from Malaysia peninsula to Borneo and from there you can cross into the indonesian part of Borneo called Kalimantan and from there there are ferries to several destinations in Java or Sulawesi. Try to search or ask for help in this fb-group: https://m.facebook.com/groups/523388417870815?ref=share |
Thanks so much for your help! We are gonna look for this option, is the last chance we have. Any way, we leave here the number of the guy who does the ferry services from Port Klang to Medan (Sumatra), maybe could be useful for somebody. Steve: 0122240251
