Someone already sent bikes to uruguay? how was clearing customs?

Try giving Kevin, lemes54@hotmail.com an e-mail. He is a biker and also stores bikes, he speaks excellent English, lives in Montevideo and if his storage rates are anything to go by he should be good value. Ride safe.

I shipped my car to Uruguay some years ago. Unfortunately I was not able to do the paperwork myself. I tried it but was send back at every office and was forced to pay a customs agent. Last year I contacted some agents for the transport of a bike. The cheapest, or less expensive I found is Carlos alvicar@adinet.com.uy. He charges US$ 500. Others did not hesitate in asking U$1000 per bike!
