Darien Gap
Just wondering how people cross the Darien Gap these days.....
|
Hai,
I guess flying is the best way. A boat is also possible, but dangerous. The only other way is on foot and canoo... but besides the rain, mud, muskito's, snake's and other jungle-stuff... you also have to be aware of gurilia- and drugg's army's who kill everyone the encounter. This is really to bad, otherwise it would be a great chalange to cross it. Maarten |
It's been done exactly twice overland. Neither of them would even consider doing it again, and that's without the guerillas and drug armies. As Maarten notes, in todays situation it's suicidal.
Flying is by far the best way, and we've heard of all of them.
