How are moto travelers crossing crossing from Panama to Colombia, now that the Stahlratte is no longer in service?

Start with the "planning" episode and watch them in sequence. This is literally early 2022, I don't think you can get any better information than that.

We 4x4 travelers are more than jaelous - because we didnt have that option for the darian gap!

As they said in Jaws - "we're gonna need a bigger boat". Don't most 4x4s go in containers from one side to the other?

Back to bikes - the other widely used option has been to fly them across the Gap.

Ill bet it cost a small fortune to get her 300, across anything bigger than a honda 300 would be inviting disaster Cargo Pack airlines would solve your problem for 1200 usd , last years prices

I had a good laugh .... first time I saw a YT video about the next part of my journey ... like watching an online tutorial to bake a cake .... she did a very good job getting her 300 Honda to Panama :thumbup1::thumbup1: ... and documenting it :thumbup1::thumbup1:

all the boats she used looked good and solid and the crews more or less capable of getting her bike (or my 650) to Panama more or less safely. The tricky part is the loading, but I have done a lot worse boats, canoes and rafts in Africa with me not speaking a word of the language they speak.

But first I will look for a sailboat, as I have started to sail last year.
