DC to Orlando for shipment with Knopf
 

Is anyone passing through DC on their way to Orlando in the next few weeks that has room for a spare bike? Looking for ways to get my bike down to Stefan Knopf for shipment to Germany in late Feb.

Or if anyone is planning the same from the DC metro area maybe we can go in on a trailer or uhaul truck together?

Auto Train
 

Suggest that you investigate the auto train that runs between DC and Orlando. Bikes are secured on pallets and it is a nice overnight with a dining car.

Auto train is a really cool option to have, between DC and FL, but maybe not the cheapest. It's roughly $120 for a bike and $190 for a dude or dudette. Then to fly or train back adds some more. Was hoping to find someone headed that way anyway to take the bike and some money for their troubles.
