Green card extended from Europe to Morocco?
Anyone have any advice as to how to extend my European green card into Morocco? I'm stuck.

Your insurance agent should be able to advise you on this. I know the European green card is accepted in Tunisia, but I think that is the only African country which accepts it. It may be that there is no requirement for it in Morocco, and of course, the green card is only for liability insurance, it doesn't give you any coverage for damage or theft of the bike itself. ------------------ Susan Johnson Share the Dream at www.HorizonsUnlimited.com |
You can buy insuarnce at the border with Ceuta, if you can't get your card extended. Can't remember exactly how much, but it's not too expensive.

Depends on your insurance company. Some will include it, some won't. Some charge for it, some won't. Same for Turkey and a host of other places - the last one I had had every country from here to Iran and Iraq on it, but with certain ones crossed out.
As I recall, a months ins at Ceuta for a 4WD is about £50 (somebody correct me if I'm wrong!) |
