Help! Shipping out of Ecuador / Companies, Costs & Crates?
 

It is looking to pricey/complicated to ship from Colombia so we are now considering shipping our bike out of Guayaquil, Ecuador back home.

Has anyone had any experience with companies from Ecuador to anywhere in the world? We have emailed MSL and Veco on Hubb user suggestions.

MSL has given us a good quote but we are worried there are additional costs for leaving Ecuador we have not been told about? The quote covers custom clearance, crate, ocean freight and local export charges. Does anyone have a quote they can share with us?

The cost of a crate is US$500 so we are looking to source our own in Guayaquil. Does anyone know where we could get a cheap crate?

I really need to send my bike back home (europe preferably kotka, finland ) in several weeks.

If anyone else is in the thread with info about shipping from peru or ecuador, please dont be silent!
