Is insurance reccommended when shipping your bike by air? Is the airline responsible if the bike is damaged or goes missing? The problem I have is that I'm not too keen on sorting out a possible claim with a local (African) insurance company after I've returned to the UK and discovered, for example, that my bike hasn't. Can anyone reccommend a UK comapny who would insure it in transit?
