Moving to the USA for 3-4 years
Rather than taking a trip, we are looking at relocating to Seattle. Any shipping tips, registering in the US etc...
Should I sell the bike in the UK and just buy new in the US? All thoughts and experiences welcomed. |
I would say you should sell in the UK and buy in the states. Bikes are cheaper in the states and you won't have to pay for shipping or worry asbout registering etc.

No question about it!!!
Sell your bike and buy a new one in the USA after you establish your residency requirements. You will save tons of money. Good Luck |
Selling and buying isn't an option now, as I've decided to ride across the States when I've shipped in to JFK.

You should ask the Washington Department of Motor Vehicles (or whatever they call it) and find out if you'll have a problem registering your bike there.
