Need to ship my VStrom 650 from South Korea to North America
Hi: I've tried searching the data bases for this information, but to no avail. I am riding across Russia, and will be in Vladivostok during 1st week of July. From there I plan to ferry my bike to South Korea and find shipping to North America. I am taking it home. I have tried contacting Wendy Choi, but she has not responded. Does anyone among you have an update on shipping for me? Again, I apologize if this subject has already been covered. The bike weighs 220 Kg ((485 pounds). I would prefer to fly it with me on same flight. Thanks for any help you can give me. Oh-- any beta on a create I can get?

Air Canada Cargo should be able to help.
N America <-> S Korea [in either direction] is fairly common. Google freight forwarders in the major S Korean cities and start emailing them. Good luck! |
Hello Ron
I used Wendy Choi (wendy@aerointl.kr) as an agent just a few days ago. She was really helpful and is doing a great job. In the end Wendy put my bike into a AirCanada airplane and it's now waiting in Vancouver for me to get it. It's strange that she doesn't reply to you. Do you have a typo in your mail address? Did you already book the ferry? Because it is at least fully booked until end of July... You might get in touch with Yuri (ymelnik@links-ltd.com) from Vladivostok. He can help you with the ferry or even with shipping your bike in a crate to S. Korea and then with the help of Wendy fly it to Vancouver. They're a great team. Best Janosch |
