Peru to Colombia
 

I bought a cheap bike for my trip in Colombia with the plan of dumping it at the end and the time has come. I'll either finish up in Lima or Huaraz a bit further north. If it simplifies things greatly I could make it to Lima.

My goal is to find a semi truck that I could pay to throw the bike in the back. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so who I could contact to organize it? Are there any paperwork requirements for this method?

If not, what are my other options?

Always a good chance the truck driver could be asked to explain the presence of a Colombian bike that he has no right to have.

What about doing it legitimately through a trucking company?
