Ride to Saudi
 

Has anyone actual rode a bike from UK or Europe to Saudi and got it registered in Saudi to ride their. I will be working over their and really want to ride by bike their pay any taxes etc.

just a thought but if you're close enough to another Mid Eastern country (like Bahrain?) and you get no joy from Saudi, you could try there.

I'd be interested in the route you're intending to take, I couldn't find an open border between me (in Austria) and the Middle East (I wanted to ride around the Med) but got hypothitically blocked at Morocco/Algeria and then again at Lebanon/Israel,

u can travel to saudi from Italy- Ancona by ferry to Cesme in Turkey then to Adana - Latakia in Syriya-Damascous- Amman in Jordan- cross the border to Saudi through Alomari-Alguraiat.

Hi Steve did you get any success with this? I am in Saudi now and want to go home and ride my bike back here. I have worked out that I can get through every country but I don't know what the regulations are in Saudi itself, and my bike is 9 years old. Peter
