RO-PAX into Alexandria
 

Hi, there's been a bit of discussion on the Sahara forum about the Visemarline RoPAx service from Venice to Alexandria - they've been thinking about re-starting it all summer but have now decided that they won't.
This along with the situation in Syria has left a lot of people in the lurch.
Does anyone know of any shipping lines that operate cross-mediterranean into Northen Egypt who I could approach with a view to them taking one or two trucks/4x4s/bikes at a time along with passengers?

Currently in the "lurch" in Jordan/ Looking for the same ferry but the other way from Egypt to Cyprus/Turkey

maybe an alternative route around syria with ferry from Mersin to Tripoli, it is going every monday and thursday from Turkey;
