I think shipping to Port Klang is better. look for prices on www.onlineshipping.nl. Your bike goes then LCL wich means together with other cargo in an container. Need to crate wich certified woord. A few years ago I shipped my bike to Port Kelang. You can find everything here. Onlineshipping is a bit cheaper than baggage .nl
When you want to go to Australia Wallenius shipping line is a good one, That is roll on roll off. On their site you can find a shedules. Shipping to Fremantle is a good option and western Australia is a very good start. Bike must be 100% clean because of quarantine.

I know about the certified wood thing,
Last year when i did my SA trip the told me to use ispn15 wood or regular wood that needed to be heat treated.
But turned out that MDF wood that you buy in your local do it yourself shop is fine also, the MDF is made under high pressure and heat
