Shipping bike from UK to South Africa
 

I am planning to ship my Honda NX 650 Dominator from the UK (nr London) to Durban, South Africa in early 2007. Can anyone help with the following questions:

- what is the likely cost of shipping (by sea)?
- are there any recommended freight agents/shippers for this trip?

I do not intend to use a carnet and appreciate this means having to pay local import duties. Any relevant experiences with import & registration in South Africa would also be appreciated.

if I am not mistaken import duties in South Africa are around 100%.....
