Shipping from US to Malaysia
:mchappy:
Greetings fellow bikers. I decided to give up on shipping my bike to the Philippines and decided to get a carnet and ship to Malaysia. Malaysia seems to be much easier to deal with and from what I understand they provide up to 90day visas on arrival. Does anyone have a recommendation on a freight forwarder that can handle this? I am looking to do as much of the work in the process as possible to keep the cost down. Which port is the best to deal with in Malaysia? Also I would like to store the bike in Malaysia for a couple months while I travel in the Philippines, so I am looking for any suggestions on a safe place to store the bike. Cheers! :scooter: |
Philippines - Malaysia on your own bike
hey there,
are you still looking for advice for storage in MY or even going to the Philippines with your bike? I might have found a way, legal and with help from the Philippine governments. Riding at present around the Philippines - real good experience with the locals, police and government - guess the old saying holds some wisdom - the way you treat them, the way they treat you! Let me know - and if you are now in MY - go to Kota Kinabalu Mountains in Sabah - awesome!!!! |
FBI,
I'd like to know more about getting into RP with my bike.. What can you share? Thanks. Trevor |
