Shipping inside USA - west to east
 

At the moment I have my eyes on the TransAmTrail. I somehow need to get 3 bikes from the west coast to the east coast - by air or land.

By doing a quick search on this forum I didn't find any useful info on this topic.

What I'm looking for is a proximal price for the shipping. I don't want so send the shipping companies a query, until I know the approx. prices. The starting city would be Medford or Portland in Oregon and I can choose from 4 end cities (Minneapolis, New York, Baltimore and Orlando).

Hope someone can give me a rough figure.

Household goods movers such as Allied Van Lines handle bikes. Also, I've heard of Forward Air being used.

Why would you not contact them to learn pricing, doing research?
