Shipping motorbike to Thailand
 

If I was to ship my BMW F 650 to Thailand, what is the process to keep it there for one year? I will also tour other SE Asia countries but will return to Thailand.

Temporary importation into Thailand
 

Normally the duration limite of a Thai importation of a vehicle is determined by the validity of your own visa. I don't know how it works for an extended period but you could try Motorcycle Touring & Maps: Thailand : Laos : Golden Triangle which has lots of information on this very subject as there are quite a few ex-pats that have this very problem.
