Shipping from North America to South America
 

Hello,

we are new in the hubb :)

We are from Black-Forest/ Germany and planning a 1 year trip start in august 2019.
Our bikes are two Honda Crf 250L.
We are planing to start in Halifax. Then we want to ride to Vancouver. Later we want to ride down the US west coast in direction Mexico.

After that we want to visit south america.

And now our question:

We want to avoid the climatic conditions in middle-america.
Do you know if there are any options to ship the bikes from Southwest USA or Mexico to Chile or Peru?
We think that would be in november/december 2019.

four weeks ago I tried to contact a1-autotransport (https://www.a1autotransport.com/ship...ycle-to-chile/)
but until today i didn't get an answer.

We decided to check our options again when we are in north america next year. In worst case we have to use the way through panama but we are confident that there will be an possibility.

Hallo Stef + Lukas, ja es gibt einen wöchentlichen Sammelcontainer ab Los Angeles nach Valparaiso. Dazu müsstet ihr euch eine Kiste in den USA besorgen aus behandelten Holz (mit Stempeln) oder eine OSB-Kiste wobei aber auch das Kantholz behandelt sein muss. Ihr könnt auch bei den lokalen Motorrad-Händlern nach einer gebr. Kiste fragen, die sind normalerweise froh diese los zu werden. Wenn euch das interessiert mache ich euch gerne ein entsprechendes Frachtangebot mit ALLEN anfallenden Kosten, auch den Kosten in Chile.....
