Shipping From Oakland USA to New Zealand?
 

I'm doing an Alaskan/Canadian trip later this year, shipping my bike from the UK to Oakland CA. Before I arrange return shipping to the UK, i'm looking into the possibility of shipping the bike from Oakland to New Zealand, before then shipping it back to the UK.
Does anyone have any experience and/or recommendations of who to use?

First off I'd recommend shipping in and out of Canada, not USA!

US air shipment regulations are much more of a pain in the neck than Canada, in fact, US shippers often recommend riding to Canada and they'll organize shipping from there for you.

As for who to use, start with our supporters here on HU - James Cargo and Motorcycle Express, and others on our Shippers links page, they both understand our needs as motorcycle travellers, and specialize in shipping motorcycles overseas.

Also remember you have to clear customs at the bikes FIRST port of entry!
