Shipping SA (Jo'burg) to London
 

Any ideas on who to look at using and what the costs are likely to be?

I flew my bike London to Cape Town last November and will be shipping home end of April . I used Motofreight in the UK and very pleased with their service . Not connected to them just an extremely happy customer,they made it very easy . Cost will depend on size and weight , my bike is heavy so expensive.

No idea of current costs but look at MACS Shipping. They sail from Durban and richards Bay to the UK .

Be sure any quotes you get from agents include South Africa Airways. As of a few weeks ago they were substantially less than other airlines. I have a quote to fly my bike (crated with wheels handlebars etc. off to reduce dimensions) from Toronto to Jo'burg for $1500 USD, which I thought was pretty good.
