Shipping from Seattle to Vladivostok by plane - Experiences? Tipps? Contacts?
 

Hello everybody,

on my RTW-Trip 2015/2016 I want to ship my bike from the US-Westcoast (Seattle/Everett) to Vladivostok by vessel - with Fesco resp. Eukor (vessel-owner).

The problem is: Maybe this will be not the best way for this shipment. Because: Perhaps the transport needs three weeks - with loading etc. This would be to long for me, because I would lose to much time for travelling.

So, now I have to search for an alternate-shipment by plane - from Seattle to Vladivostok.

Is there someone with experience on this route, tipps or maybe helpful direct contacts to express companys?

Important is: It don´t have to be the route Seattle-Vladivostok. If there is another possibility for shipping from westcoast (USA/Canada) - that would be also fine.

I have no answer to your prbolem, but on my way from Switzerland to Japan last summer I met a Turkish guy you can find in FB here:

He shipped his motorbike from Vladivostok to USA (don't remember where exactly) and said he did not even spend that much. I think the trip took 4 days or so in total.
In any case, his name is Levent and nichkname Bikerelturco.
