one quick question from a helpfull soul .does anyone have a clue how long on average it takes to ship from australia to u.k
all my enquiries to shipping agents so far have fallen on deaf ears .maybe thats because i live in peru at the moment and they view me as i time waster , who knows

The ship that took my XT600 back home to the UK, sailed out of Sydney on December 18th last year and arrived at Tilbury docks on February 5th, so that's about six or seven weeks I suppose.
The shipper had it for a couple of days before it left but it took over a week to get it from the ship, to the dock and to me.

thanks for the info , thats solved one mystery, one more question , if you dont mind , how much did they charge for shipping and what where the port fees at tilbury , and exactly where is tilbury.

I know it is not England but it took 22 days to ship from Genoa, Italy to Sydney. That was the actual shipping time. Took Sydney port dodos a week to make the bikes available.

thanks for the info.sydney sounds as bad as the U.S they actually lost my bike for 10 days .
