shipping to Turkey?
I'm in Kuala Lumpur at the moment looking into getting my bike from here to Turkey. I should have really flown it out of Bangkok but my visa was running out so headed to KL thinking prices would be similar. Air freight quotes here (au$3500) are nearly twice that of Bangkok (au$1900), so I'm looking at shipping (au$870). Has anyone got any idea what Istanbul charges would be like? Is it full of officials wanting bribes or would everything be straight forward? So far all my border crossings have been a dream so I'm hoping getting into Europe will be the same. The main thing that turns me off the shipping is that it will take 3 - 4 weeks so I might just end up going to the Thai Consulate, getting a visa and heading back to Bangkok.

Hi;
If you decide to ship it to Istanbul, ı can give you the number of an agent .. And dont worry, it will be quite straight... Cheers, |
Thanks for that, if I do decide to ship I will definately get the number from you. Do you have an email address for them, might be worth me asking what charges are in advance.
