Shipping two bikes from New Zealand to Iran
 

Hey guys,
we are looking to ride from Iran to Spain in Jan 2011
Anybody know of good shipping company that will get us into Iran
Plan to ship bikes from Wellington NZ
Just starting out planning trip so any information would be great
Planning to use KLR 650 and take about 3 months
Cant wait

Not able to answer this directly - but have been thinking a lot about riding to Europe. Im in Nelson. How far have you got with the planning? I'm interested in coming too if poss..?

With that time frame, I would guess that air freight is your best option. There's a section somewhere here with a list of freight forwarding companies and I think there's some there in NZ

Try some of the meat exporters as a fair bit meat is/has been shipped to Iran, there might be some contacts there.

Shipping to India is quite cheap and only a weeks riding if you don't want to hang around.
