Sydney to Vancouver
 

I want to air freight my bike form Sydney to Vancouver this coming April. Does anyone know of an agent that can do it for me?

I've also heard that in the past people have shipped bikes directly with Qantas. Is this still possible?

Nothing to lose from emailing Qantas directly and asking for a quote. :) They do have a terminal in Vancouver.

Air Canada operates direct flights from Sydney to Vancouver.

Air Canada is quite knowledgeable about shipping motorcycles, because in past years they have run promotions encouraging passengers to ship their motorcycle on Air Canada - and offered quite attractive prices.

The attractive prices are probably no more, this due to the overall reduction in flights arising from COVID, but if nothing else, AC will know what you are talking about when it comes to shipping motos.

Might be worth contacting them and asking.

Whoever you end up using I can say from experience Vancouver airport is the easiest place I have ever imported a motorcycle into, about 10 minutes including a 5 minute wait.

Be prepared to mortgage your house. The cost of air cargo and the way it can be calculated now is insanely high.
