US to South America in Nov/Dec, 2006
 

My partner and I are reviewing our options for transporting our 2 (BMW F650's) bikes to South America in late Nov or early Dec 2006. We plan on spending 3-4 months in SA and would like to know if anyone else is shipping their bikes around the same time. forget peru, too much bureaucracy and Callao is not the best of places to be...
I would opt for Chile. Customs work correct and fast and next no portcharges (what cannot be said of Argentina)
