Your own conatiner how do you crate?

Hey Guys,

I have a personal container organised for the trip, meaning I have room!

I have seen some interesting set ups in regards to securing bikes, some of which do not involve a full crate system.

Which is fantastic, cause then we do not need to dispose of the crate on the other side!

does anyone have any experience in this?

If I'd have a whole container, I'd just use some tie-downs, like securing bikes, when transported in a van. LCL seafreight is different, there can be other consignments in the same container, and you are usually required to use a crate.

You have the whole container (what size?) for how many bikes? And you're shipping by sea from where to where?

40foot container, 1 car and 3 bikes. Brisbane - Vladivostok
