new old triumph owner
so we just baught a 73 boniville chopper. We are having a hard time finding where to put the oil in, I might be blind or dumb but the pic in the manual looks different than our bike. So I wonder if when the bike was chopped would the point of lube been hidden or moved?
also we picked it up for 1400 with 8000 original miles, is that a good deal? :helpsmilie: |
It’s a bargain :thumbup1:
If It’s the original frame that has been chopped and its an oil in frame bike ( that’s the giveaway ) the oil will be in the frame with the filler at the head stock of just in front of the seat if not it will have an oil tank somewhere I have had a few Triumph’s over the years mostly 500s and have had great fun with them just look after the oil and dont run them tooooooo hard they go bang if you do My Bike Bob's Page Have Fun :D Bob |
Trace the oil lines back from the engine !
