Tiger 800XC Starting Problem
 

I am in southern Chile riding a three year old Tiger with 74,000 km and the bike will not start. The starter will not engage...it will just bump. I removed the starter and took it to a local starter shop and the starter is OK. I have taken the new battery to a battery shop and the guy there said he believed the battery was OK, but he kept it overnight to charge and I will return in the morning to find his results. The battery was replaced at Triumph Peru in Lima about two months ago. I have had starter issues for a couple of years, though it has always started before. My question is, is there a relay or switch that could be causing this problem (assuming the battery is OK).

I have also had starter problems on my over 3 year old 800xc with 39k miles on the clock. I change the starter motor but still have problems with the auto choke, so I have to turn the ignition off wait for it to reset then start again.
